China Communication University, formerly known as Beijing Broadcasting Institute, is a "2 1 1 project" national key construction university directly under the Ministry of Education. 5. Formerly known as Lujiang Vocational College, it was renamed Xiamen Institute of Technology.

Jiangxi University of Science and Technology was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jiangxi Metallurgical Institute, and 1988 was renamed as Southern Metallurgical Institute. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. 10, formerly known as Zhejiang Silk Vocational and Technical College, was renamed as Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.

The school is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, with prosperous economy and outstanding people. 1April, 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed from Zhejiang Silk Vocational and Technical College to Zhejiang Institute of Technology. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.

The school has a long history. Its predecessor, Silkworm Academy, was founded in 1897, which is one of the earliest new educational institutions in China. A hundred years of running a school has accumulated a profound cultural heritage, forming a fine tradition of "seeking knowledge and seeking truth from facts, innovating and starting a business" and a school spirit of seeking truth from facts. The school began to recruit undergraduates on 1959, postgraduates on 1979, the right to confer master's degrees on 1983, the right to assess the qualifications of associate professors approved by the Ministry of Education on 1993, and the joint training of doctoral students with Zhejiang University on 1995.
