Air Force Aviation University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, established at the level of deputy corps, is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is the only comprehensive military institution of higher learning in China that focuses on training flight talents and adapts to aviation engineering technology.
The predecessor of the university was 1946, the first aviation school founded by our party and army-the Northeast Democratic Coalition Aviation School, that is, the "Northeast Old Aviation School". Air Force Aviation University is an associate military school formed on June 9, 2004 by the merger of the former Air Force Second Aviation Academy, Changchun Flying Academy and Seventh Flying Academy.
The school has two major disciplines: military science and engineering, aviation flight and command, aircraft and engines, aviation ordnance, aviation fire control system, aviation electrical and instrumentation, aviation communication and navigation, aviation radar, avionics countermeasures, aviation reconnaissance equipment, reconnaissance image processing, reconnaissance image interpretation and military simulation engineering, aviation lifesaving, aviation military training, etc.
The majors of Air Force Aviation University are as follows:
1, aviation flight and command: the only source for the growth of air force pilots. Train junior flight command officers with bachelor degree and basic qualities of flight officers, and systematically master basic knowledge, theory and skills of military flight. Main courses: aerodynamics, aircraft flight mechanics, air navigation, aircraft structure and system, aviation power plant, primary flight training, intermediate flight training, etc.
2. Reconnaissance intelligence: it is a key discipline in army building. Training junior officers with undergraduate education and basic qualities of officers, engaged in reconnaissance image processing, reconnaissance image interpretation, intelligence analysis and reorganization. Main courses: reconnaissance technology, image processing, image measurement principle, image interpretation principle, intelligence analysis, intelligence reorganization, etc.
3. Target project: it is a new major for key military construction. Cultivate junior officers with bachelor's degree, basic qualities of officers and professional work of counterpart support. Main courses: introduction to target, target data processing and application, target reorganization method and practice, target selection theory and application, etc.
