Air Force Aviation University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, established at the level of deputy corps, is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is the only comprehensive military institution of higher learning in China that focuses on training flight talents and adapts to aviation engineering technology.

The predecessor of the university was 1946, the first aviation school founded by our party and army-the Northeast Democratic Coalition Aviation School, that is, the "Northeast Old Aviation School". Air Force Aviation University is an associate military school formed on June 9, 2004 by the merger of the former Air Force Second Aviation Academy, Changchun Flying Academy and Seventh Flying Academy.
