Fudan University conscientiously implemented the deployment of "promoting discipline construction of discipline inspection and supervision" and "building a theoretical system of discipline inspection and supervision with China characteristics" at the 20th Party Congress, and decided to establish the School of Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Fudan University according to the discipline characteristics and actual situation.
Jin Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Ombudsman of the National Supervisory Commission (NSC) in Fudan University, is the Dean of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision College of Fudan University. As a school-level interdisciplinary research platform, the Institute is affiliated to the Law School, giving full play to the comprehensive multidisciplinary advantages of Fudan University, integrating the disciplinary strengths of Law School, Marxist College and School of International Relations and Public Affairs, absorbing the faculty of related disciplines of the whole school and the research strength of relevant experts and scholars from off-campus research institutions and practice departments, promoting the in-depth integration and innovation of cross-platform interdisciplinary disciplines in the school, the exchange and research of experts and scholars inside and outside the school, and the exchange and cooperation between theoretical and practical circles, and accelerating the cultivation of discipline inspection and supervision talents with Fudan characteristics.
According to reports, the institute will devote itself to gathering a discipline inspection and supervision teaching and research team with diverse disciplinary structure, reasonable age echelon and great academic influence, and produce a number of landmark teaching and research achievements to build it into a high-end platform with the functions of discipline inspection and supervision theory research, senior official education, cadre training and interdisciplinary communication.
At the meeting, the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Fudan University, the Office of the Ombudsman of the State Supervision Commission in Fudan University and the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Hongkou District of Shanghai signed a cooperation agreement. The two sides will strengthen cooperation around four aspects: theoretical research, professional ability, clean government culture and talent team, improve the level of cooperation between schools and places, strengthen the ability and quality of discipline inspection and supervision cadres, and promote the discipline inspection work of district schools.
After the inauguration ceremony, the participating experts conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the theme of "high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision". Nine experts and scholars from Fudan University, China Renmin University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Wuhan University, Zhejiang University, Xiangtan University and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law made exchange speeches.
