At present, Fudan University has 35 directly affiliated hospitals (departments) and 18 affiliated hospitals (two of which are under construction). There are 80 undergraduate majors, 40 doctoral degree authorization points for first-class disciplines, 43 master degree authorization points for first-class disciplines (including first-class disciplines), 5 doctoral degree authorization points, 30 master degree authorization points and 37 post-doctoral research stations.

Undergraduate students 15 164, graduate students (including full-time and part-time students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), and 2535 international students with academic qualifications. The school has 3602 teaching and administrative staff. There are 59 academicians of China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering (including double employment), outstanding professors of liberal arts 1 person, and senior professors of liberal arts1person, and they have won 66 1 person of various national talent plans, accounting for nearly 20% of the teaching staff.

In 2000, Fudan University and Shanghai Medical University merged. At present, the banquet school has 12 disciplines such as philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine, management, art, and interdisciplinary; 202 1, 20 disciplines in our school were selected for the second round of "double first-class" construction disciplines, three more than the first round.

History of Fudan University:

The name of Fudan University is taken from "Sun and Moon shine brightly, Dan Fudan Xi" in The Great Biography of Shangshu. Founded in 1905, formerly known as Fudan University, 19 17 was named Fudan University. It is the first institution of higher learning independently established by the people of China. The predecessor of Shanghai Medical University was the National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University Medical College founded in 1927.
