The nature of work is different:
If the university teacher is a university professor, the teacher doesn't have to sit in class, that is, he doesn't have to sit in school all day. His classes will be few and mainly scientific research. If he is free, he can leave school and do whatever he wants.
Moreover, university teachers teach adults, whose thinking is relatively mature. Teachers only need to pass on what they should say in class, and the rest are digested by students themselves. As for how much they digest, it is out of the teacher's control. You can hardly see the teacher after class.
In primary and secondary schools, teachers are faced with a bunch of minors, so teachers need to maintain classroom discipline while giving lectures, take care of students' learning situation and the enrollment rate of classes. That primary and secondary school teachers are more tired than university professors, so primary and secondary school teachers can't do anything when they are around 50 years old.
Pressure to enter a higher school:
When I arrive at the university, the teacher has no pressure to go to school. The main task is to take graduate students to do scientific research projects. Therefore, many university professors have no coercive pressure. Even if the graduate students they bring can't graduate as scheduled, the pressure is not on them, but more on the students.
But primary and secondary school teachers are different. The enrollment rate of the school may be directly linked to their salary, or your class is qualified to evaluate the professional title only after the enrollment rate. Therefore, the pressure on primary and secondary school teachers will be even greater. Whether it is class performance or survival rate, it will directly affect their positions or salaries.
Living environment:
Generally, university professors live in a relatively advanced environment. Every day, I face some researchers or many people at home and abroad, so I have a longer-term vision. Their definition of old may not be old until 80, so at 70, they think they are still young. This mentality has made them more optimistic and cheerful, and now they don't need to worry about life and children.
However, for some primary and secondary school teachers, their living environment may be relatively ordinary. They may define old as 50 years old. At this time, they feel that they should enjoy life and need to coax their children, so they feel that they can do nothing.
