1. Ancient The Way

As a famous ancient temple in Beijing, Tanzhe Temple has many pilgrims in the upper reaches of history. Since the Jin Dynasty, emperors of every dynasty have come here to worship Buddha, and there are countless queens, princes and ministers, which are even more difficult for ordinary people to remember. Especially since the Ming Dynasty, Tanzhe Temple has become a fixed place for Beijingers' spring outing. "Watching Buddha and snake in April Lake" has become a traditional folk custom of Beijingers. Every year, when Tanzhe Temple holds Buddhist activities such as bathing Buddhism, Lotus Pond Conference and Longhua Shenghui, thousands of wandering monks, good men and women from all over the world flock to Tanzhe Temple. Tanzhe Temple is located in the deep mountains, and the traffic is inconvenient. Many ancient incense paths have been formed in history, leading to Tanzhe Temple from different directions. Some of these ancient roads were funded by the royal family or official families, some were built out of piety to the Buddha, some were built by folk incense clubs with good relations with Tanzhe Temple, and some were built by local businessmen and people. After hundreds or even thousands of years of continuous transformation and utilization, these ancient incense paths have played a great role in the external exchange of Tanzhe Temple and the worship of Buddha incense to good men and women.

2. Beautiful scenery of Tanzhe Temple

Jiulong zhuxi

Tanzhe Mountain is lush with its back against the round mountain. It is called Zhu Baofeng, and the locals call it Spider Peak. There are nine peaks surrounded by arches around this hill. From the east, there are Huilong Peak, Huju Peak, Pengri Peak, Cuizi Peak, Jiyunfeng Peak, Rocky Peak, jiayue Peak, Elephant Wang Feng and Lotus Peak. Be careful of other peaks, there is a circle around Jiu Feng. Nine high peaks form a semicircle horseshoe shape, and Mount Everest, the treasure of Tanzhe Temple, is located in the center, just like nine dragons around a precious pearl, competing, playing and frolicking with each other. Because these nine tall peaks are used as barriers to stop the cold current and sandstorm from the northwest, Zhu Baofeng can be lush, pine and cypress in bloom. This is the second scene of Tan _ 10 in Dragon Playing with Pearl.

Tanzhe Mountain is rich in value, and the spring outing in Tanzhe Temple is the most interesting. Standing in front of the temple, looking around, I saw the mountains rolling and overlapping, full of green, pleasing to the eye. Mount Everest in front of us is full of pines, cypresses and wormwood. A poem by Wang, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, said:' The mountains are exhausted, the trees are dark at night, and Jiu Feng is green. The garden trees are pink, and the bamboo floats in the water pavilion.' Even Emperor Qianlong, who traveled all over the country, could not help reciting the poem:' Green hills are like washing, surrounded by good neighbors'. This is the third of the ten scenic spots in Tanzhe Temple, Qianfeng Green Arch.

Wanhe Duyun

The weather is changeable in summer, especially in mountainous areas. The sun sets in the west, and the cool wind rises suddenly. Looking up at the northwest sky, I saw dark clouds rolling, and the cool breeze in the western hills gradually subsided, and suddenly Xuan Yin was full of wind and rain. Such as the tide of Qiantang, such as heavenly soldiers, rolling over hillsides and valleys, the wind whistling through the Woods, the sound of empty valleys, the surging waves want to collapse again and again, and the mountains are breathing. At this time, if you climb the Piluge in the temple, you will really appreciate the charm of' after the rain clears'. This is the fourth of the ten scenic spots in Tanzhe Temple, the misty valley.

Climbing to the top of the high mountain, I saw the temple standing in front of me.

"Liu Beiting" is located in the courtyard of the palace, which was built by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty as the "tomb of flowing meandering water". This kind of building can only be seen in a few royal gardens such as Zhongnanhai, Ganlong Garden of the Forbidden City and Gongwangfu. The "Liu Beiting" in Tanzhe Temple is rare among the people. There is a bamboo forest nearby, accompanied by Gu Song, and the environment is quiet. This is a cool place. Tian Youshi, a famous traveler in the Republic of China, said that when you leave the pavilion, you can take a bamboo wind to send you to the late autumn. The bells in the courtyard spread to the bottom of the ears, and the spring water in the stone fell to the pavilion. Today's Liubei Pavilion is one of the most attractive places for tourists.

Many tourist attractions in China have sunrise scenery, but watching the sunrise in Tanzhe Temple is even more intoxicating. Early in the morning, I boarded the platform in front of Kannonji, looked up and saw the majestic figure of Qingri Peak gradually becoming clear in the morning fog. In an instant, the east is getting brighter, and a red sun rises in Ran Ran, Ran Ran, as if holding the peak of the sun and slowly holding it up with a folded giant hand. You can only enjoy this magnificent landscape in Tanzhe Temple. The poet Huang Zan said: "The morning bell reaches white clouds, and the morning glow is cold." A great climber, from the beginning of four mountains. '

Layers are stacked to frame the moon.

The quiet night scene, in Tanzhe Temple, makes you ecstatic. As night fell, the mountain was silent, and only the incense sticks in front of the Buddha statue in the temple shone through the doors and windows. At this time, you boarded the Yanqing Pavilion and looked into the sky, only to see the peaks undulating and reflected in the starry sky. A bright moon floats on the waves of the mountains, and the beautiful peaks hold the bright moon like a silver basin, unwilling to let her fall. Pearls are cold and the night breeze is bleak. Who stayed in the dark moon? Shadows to the west of pine trees and green hills. '

3. Two Treasures of Tanzhe Temple

Bao: There is a copper pot in front of Tianwang Temple, with a diameter of 1.85 m and a depth of 1. 1 m. It is used by monks for cooking. This pot used to be in the north room of the East Hospital, but now there is a bigger pot, with a diameter of 4 meters and a depth of 2 meters. It takes 16 hours to boil porridge once, and you can load 10 stone. Because the bottom of the pot is thick and simmered slowly, the porridge is sticky and fragrant. Regarding these two pots, there is also a saying that "throwing sand does not leak rice". It turns out that there is a "sand container" at the bottom of the pot. With the continuous stirring of porridge, sand and gravel will sink into the depression at the bottom of the pot.

Stone Fish: On the west side of Guanyin Hall in Tanzhe Temple, there is the Dragon King Hall. There is a stone fish on the front porch of the hall, which is 1.7m long and weighs 150kg. It looks like copper, but it is actually a stone. When it is struck, it can make five sounds. Legend has it that it is a treasure of the Dragon Palace in the South China Sea, and the Dragon King gave it to the Jade Emperor. Later, there was a great drought in the world, and the Jade Emperor gave it to Tanzhe Temple to eliminate the disaster. One stormy night, the stone fish fell from the sky and landed in the yard. It is said that the 13 part of stone fish represents 13 provinces. If any province is dry, it will rain in some parts of this province. The stone fish in the temple now was copied later.
