The School of Journalism and Communication of Tianjin Normal University has five undergraduate majors: journalism, advertising, radio and television journalism, broadcasting and hosting, radio and television director and photography.

School of Journalism and Communication of Tianjin Normal University was established in June 2003, formerly known as School of Journalism and Communication of Tianjin Normal University. In the journalism education in new China, Tianjin Normal University is one of the institutions of higher learning that set up journalism specialty earlier in China. It has a history of 44 years and is also a relatively complete journalism department in Tianjin. At present, the School of Journalism and Communication consists of journalism department, advertising department, radio and television journalism department, radio and television director department, photography department, broadcasting and hosting department.
