There are three universities in Weihai, namely Weihai Vocational College, Weihai Ocean Vocational College and Shandong Medicine and Food Vocational College.
2. Weihai Vocational College is a full-time public general higher vocational school, which was formed by the merger of former Weihai Radio and TV University, Weihai Education College and Weihai Industrial School. With the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education was established in June 2000.
3. Weihai Ocean Vocational College is located in the beautiful coastal city of Weihai, Shandong Province. It is a state-owned public full-time ordinary college approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education.
4. Shandong Vocational College of Medicine and Food was founded in 1958. It belongs to Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration. It is a full-time public college at the junior college level, a famous school with skills training characteristics in Shandong Province, and a project construction unit of provincial high-quality higher vocational colleges.
