Introduction to Anhui University of Science and Technology

Anhui University of Science and Technology is a provincial undergraduate college with a long history, profound cultural heritage and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. The school was founded in 1950, and 1965 began to hold undergraduate education. It has undergone changes such as Fengyang Branch of Anhui Agricultural College, Northern Anhui Agricultural College, Anhui Agricultural Technology Teachers College and Anhui Technical Teachers College. In 2005, it was renamed Anhui University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

By June, 2023, the school had two national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 1 comprehensive reform pilot specialty, two characteristic specialties, four outstanding engineer education and training programs, and three compound application-oriented outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training program reform pilot specialties. Won the second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award. Two national first-class courses were approved.
