In order to train middle and senior managers who are interested in serving the sports industry, the Sports Research Center of the School of Health and Population Sciences of the University of Dublin, Ireland has specially set up a master's course in sports and sports management (science). This course is a one-year full-time course, which is divided into three directions. Students can choose one according to their own preferences:

Master of Science in Sports and Sports Management (Sports Management Direction)

Master of Science in Sports and Sports Management (Golf Management)

Master of Science in Sports and Sports Management (Sports Management Direction)

Graduates can be competent for the following departments and institutions:

Senior and strategic management of national sports management institutions or international leagues;

Public, private, commercial and voluntary sports clubs;

Operation and management of sports and water facilities;

Sports project management (festivals, special events, masters, domestic championships);

Wholesale, retail, marketing and circulation of sporting goods and services;

The formulation of sports policy and the planning and development of infrastructure;

Sports tourism, adventure sports and tourist destinations;

Physical education and training;

Marketing promotion, operation, strategy, human resources and financial management of professional sports institutions.

Sports management direction:

Manage the health and fitness activities of personnel and employees;

GP Sports Consultant (GP, the contact between Leisure/Health and Fitness/Sports Center and Health Bureau).

Golf direction:

Management of golf courses, clubs, specialty stores, hotels and golf resorts

Golf management and equipment maintenance: course manager, caddy manager and master of ceremonies.

Academic requirements

Bachelor degree in sports science, sports, entertainment or leisure management, health science, business, business, management or related fields. Students with equivalent education in other majors, such as working experience in related industries, can also be considered.

English requirements

IELTS 6.0 (and the score is not less than 6.0), TOEFL 80.
