The Historical Evolution of Dalian Ocean University
1952, founded in Northeast Fisheries Technical School.

1March, 953, the school was led by the Fisheries Bureau of Luda City; In June, the municipal government of Lvda officially appointed Xing Weizhen, director of Lvda Fisheries Bureau, as the principal. In September of the same year, with the approval of the Agricultural Bureau of Northeast Administrative Committee, the school was renamed Dalian Fisheries School.

1975 Liaoning Agricultural College (Agricultural Mechanization Branch), Agricultural Machinery Institute, Agricultural Machinery School, Agricultural Science Institute and Lvda Agricultural Technology Training Course were merged to form Lvda Agricultural College.

From 65438 to 0978, Dalian Fisheries College was upgraded to Dalian Fisheries College.

1978, Lvda Agricultural College (part of it) was transformed into Liaoning Agricultural Mechanization School, later developed into Liaoning Agricultural Engineering School, and now merged into Dalian Fisheries College.

1986, the school was awarded the right to master's degree.

1998, the school successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education.

In 2000, Liaoning Agricultural Engineering School was merged into Dalian Fisheries College.

In 2008, the school achieved "excellent" results in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education.

20 10 Dalian Fisheries College was renamed Dalian Ocean University.
