On the first day in the countryside, we got up early for breakfast and all gathered in Minjian with great interest. Everyone seems a little excited. After the group photo, the "bonfire research team" set off for the place that needs to be inspected this time.
Under the leadership of Director Guo of Xiangtan County Construction Bureau, we came to Hekou Town and Village of Xiangtan County for investigation. One or two old houses have collapsed here, which have been in disrepair for a long time. Coupled with the impact of this rainstorm, the old house that was already crumbling has completely collapsed. Fortunately, there were no people living in it, just some sundries piled up, and there were no casualties.
After Jia Huijie and Deng Yunchen registered the specific information of this house, the stationmaster took us to a path. Because most of the soil under this road is loose, although it is covered with cement, it still can't stand the heavy rain for nearly a month. The bushes used to fix the road by the roadside were washed into the rice fields below by the soil, killing many rice seedlings. Because of this, there are many empty places under the road, and pedestrians or vehicles may fall into the bottom of the slope with a little carelessness, and the consequences are unimaginable.
Our related research team carefully investigated and analyzed the reasons, recorded the reasons for the road collapse, and gave some suggestions, such as erecting a warning sign beside it to remind passing pedestrians and vehicles before maintenance.
Then we went to the Wawu Group, Shuting Group and Residential Group in Guxin Village to investigate. We found that each group would be seriously damaged in several places, such as house collapse and landslides.
The sun is the hottest at noon, and stationmaster Zhou took us to the canteen of the Construction Bureau for lunch. The food is simple and delicious, which relieves our empty stomach.
On the second day of going to the countryside, we continued the enthusiasm of the first day. After breakfast at the East Gate, we got on the bus and set off for Xiangtan County. This time, stationmaster Zhou took us to the village head and asked the village head who knew the village better to take us to investigate the situation.
We went to Jiang Yan village's careful group to investigate. The disaster situation here is very serious, with many road damages and landslides. After recording, the members of the "Beacon Investigation Team" followed the village head to the Tiger Group. We found that most of the houses here are built on the mountain, with steep slopes behind them and soft soil. Even though the roots of some big trees can imprison the soil, the whole land collapsed because of the heavy rain. Although the owner's house has been cleaned, we can still see mud marks on the walls around the house, and even see that some loess has covered the roofs of some low-rise houses.
Then we entered a path. There are many red snail eggs by the river, which makes people's scalp numb. The further we go inside, we can see that the situation is getting worse. A big tree fell and knocked over the telephone pole, and there were many black adult amphibians, snails, in the water. There are no natural enemies, and they breed unscrupulously in this water area.
? When we were going to have lunch, our car passed a big lotus pond. Lotus and lotus leaves in the whole pond reflect each other, and there are many full and round lotus leaves in the middle. Even if the sun is burning, it can't stop us from enjoying this beautiful scenery. Let's get together and record the joy and beauty of this moment with photos. In this piece of green, it seems that all the heat and dryness have been brushed away.
This is the last day of going to the countryside. In order to complete the task of going to the countryside better and more comprehensively, we gathered at Minjian at 7: 20 to prepare for departure. Because it happened to be the hottest day, plus the hard work in the scorching sun a few days ago, everyone seemed a little tired and listless. On the way to the countryside, I was a little sleepy.
This time, as usual, we went to several disaster-stricken places under the leadership of the village chief. In Tao Hong Village, we saw several dilapidated old houses. The already stormy house completely collapsed in the flood. In order to get a clearer picture, the friends of the camera team accidentally stepped into a puddle. A family lived before the house collapsed. This collapse is a big blow to them, which means they need to rebuild a home. This is a time-consuming and laborious task. There is an old man who still lives in a crumbling old house. We don't know whether there will be heavy rain or flood next time, but we just hope that he can find another place to live before then.
We also see that due to the long-term erosion of heavy rain, some people's houses have been wet and even covered with moss. Everything we have seen in these three days is unprecedented. We can't imagine the depression of the farmer's uncle when the rain washed away and flooded the crops. Our school has a high terrain and is less troubled by this flood. But in Xiangtan County, not far from us, how many villages have suffered this kind of disaster? We don't know, their economic loss and mental shock must be great. However, during this visit, we also saw that many landslides were partly caused by human factors. Three days of activities in the countryside made me understand the importance of unity and cooperation. There are pains and joys along the way, but both pains and joys have made me gain a lot and see a lot.
