Development history of Jimei University

1,199410 In June, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Jimei University merged with the former Jimei Maritime College, Xiamen Fisheries College, Fujian Institute of Physical Education and Jimei Finance College to form a provincial multi-disciplinary university, which was renamed Jimei University Teachers College.

2. 1999 1 Jimei University achieved substantial merger, and Teachers College became the second-level college of Jimei University.

In March, 2004, Jimei University carried out a new round of system reform and institutional adjustment. Relying on some professional technicians from the former Education Department of Normal University and the Modern Education Technology Center of the school, the Teacher Education College of Jimei University was newly established.

Jimei University is located in Xiamen, Fujian Province. It is a key construction university in Fujian Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Transport and Fujian Province, the State Oceanic Administration and Fujian Province, and Fujian Province and Xiamen City. Our college won the championship in the second "Duchenne Cup" debate.

On April 14 and April 15, the second "Duchenne Cup" college students' debate competition jointly organized by Quanzhou Speech and Eloquence Society and yang-en university kicked off in yang-en university. Fujian province 18 universities were invited to participate in the competition.

The topics of this contest involve all aspects, including network security, morality and ethics, campus security, human history and so on. In two days, teams from Xiamen Institute of Technology, Fujian Institute of Engineering, Fujian Police College and Chengyi College of Jimei University successfully entered the semi-finals.
