The college consists of five departments (Civil Engineering Department, Transportation and Civil Engineering Department, Architecture and Urban Planning Department, Urban Construction Department and Surveying and Mapping Engineering Department) and an experimental center. There are currently faculty members 108, including Tianshan Scholar Professor 1 person of Xinjiang University, 7 professors, 24 associate professors, 4 senior experimenters 1 person, 54 doctoral students, 24 tutors for master students (Wang Xiaodong, Guo Sun Cheng, academician of the Academy of Engineering, etc.), and more than 40 domestic registered architectural engineers. The related experimental building of civil engineering specialty covers an area of 3,600 square meters, of which the structural experimental hall covers an area of 1.700 square meters, and a reaction wall with a wall thickness of 4.2 meters and a height of 1.2 meters is built in the hall. There are 6 12 pieces of existing equipment with a total value exceeding13.08 million yuan, among which MTS test equipment series has 6 actuators with a value of 4.5 million yuan, and various advanced test equipment such as pressure testing machines. The laboratory undertakes the basic experimental teaching task of civil engineering specialty 1 1, and the number of experimental items is ***67. At the same time, there are two national projects and 18 undergraduate innovation experiment project. The construction of these experimental teaching links has played a positive role in improving the quality of undergraduate teaching.
