Graduation thesis (design) is an indispensable teaching link for colleges and universities to cultivate higher specialized talents with innovative spirit and practical ability. It is a comprehensive test of students' comprehensive quality, professional skills and practical ability, and it is also an important aspect to measure the level of running a school and the quality of personnel training. In order to strengthen the process management of graduation thesis (design) of undergraduate continuing education in our university, standardize and institutionalize the management of graduation thesis (design), and continuously improve the quality and level of graduation thesis (design), this regulation is formulated according to the spirit of the Ministry of Education's "Essentials of Teaching Management in Colleges and Universities" (199833) and other documents, and combined with the actual situation of our university.
I. Basic requirements
Graduation thesis (design) should reflect the basic theory, professional knowledge and thinking methods necessary for students to master this major systematically, and have the basic ability to engage in practical work of this major and the ability to conduct preliminary research and design.
Second, the topic selection
(1) At the end of the first semester one year before graduation, the teacher who guides the graduation thesis (design) should publish the thesis title and related materials to students for their choice. The published topics avoid problems such as narrow scope, deviation from the basic knowledge learned in the major, and excessive difficulty. As a result, the teaching purpose of graduation thesis (design) cannot be achieved or it is difficult to complete or achieve phased results within the specified time.
(2) Under the guidance of teachers, students independently choose and determine the topic of graduation thesis (design). This subject must meet the professional training objectives, meet the basic requirements of teaching and reflect the characteristics of adult higher education. The topic selection should be closely combined with teachers' scientific research and production practice, and can also be combined with their own production and scientific research topics or work conditions.
(3) In principle, the topic selection requires one person and one question. If more than one student really needs to finish, each student should have independent content. The topic selection should have enough workload and difficulty, and students can finish it on time within the specified time or achieve phased results through hard work.
Third, the instructor.
(1) qualification
1. Teachers, engineers and theoretical researchers with practical design and research experience, rigorous and down-to-earth work style and technical titles above intermediate level.
2. The number of students instructed by each instructor is generally no more than 20.
(2) Responsibility

3. Review the project plan and process arrangement of graduation thesis (design) drawn up by students, regularly check the progress and quality of students' work, and timely guide students to solve theoretical difficulties and technical problems in practice.
4. Pay attention to the training of students' basic skills such as literature retrieval and literature analysis, help students master basic scientific research methods, and guide students to write papers in a standardized way.
5, carefully review the students' graduation thesis (design), at the same time put forward comprehensive amendments, and guide students to do a good job of preparation before the defense.
6. According to students' learning attitude, learning ability and the quality of graduation thesis (design), truthfully evaluate students' performance, fairly evaluate students' graduation thesis (design) performance, and write comments.
7 Once the instructor is confirmed, it shall not be changed at will. If it is really necessary to change because of work needs, the school-running unit shall send teachers with the same level to change.
Fourth, the responsibility of students.
Every undergraduate must take part in the graduation thesis (design) and do the following work well.

Six, graduation thesis (design) defense and performance evaluation
(1) defense
1, the graduation thesis (design) defense team is generally composed of 3-5 people. Each defense team has 1 secretary to organize the defense of graduation thesis (design) of this major. Instructors can participate in the graduation thesis (design) defense group.
2. After the graduation thesis (design) is completed, the school-running unit will organize the defense work in a unified way to check the actual degree of students meeting the basic requirements of graduation thesis (design).
3. Instructors should carefully examine and sign the students' graduation thesis (design) and submit it to the defense team for defense qualification examination.
4. Students should prepare a speech outline for graduation thesis (design) defense, and introduce the main contents and related information of graduation thesis (design). Generally, the time is 10- 15 minutes.
5. Respond to the teacher's questions 10- 15 minutes.
6. The defense is conducted in an open way, and all other students can participate.
7. At the end of the defense, the defense team should write a comment of not less than 100 words for each student and give a score. Students who have objections to the evaluation results shall be handled by the school by setting up a defense committee or organizing a second defense.
(2) Performance evaluation
