The Library and Information Work Committee of Chongqing University was established in April, 1999. Under the leadership of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, it is an expert organization that consults, studies, coordinates and gives professional guidance to the library and information work of colleges and universities in Chongqing. Chongqing University Library and Information Work Committee consists of five professional committees: literature resource construction, resource sharing and automation, academic research, personnel training and higher vocational colleges. The division of labor and cooperation of professional committees has played an important role in the construction of literature resources, inter-library cooperation and resource sharing of Chongqing university libraries.

Youth academic forum

The Youth Academic Forum of Chongqing University Library was established on March 22nd, 2007. This forum is an academic organization under Chongqing University Library. The student team in charge of the People's Lake Forum is the Student Management Committee of the People's Lake Forum of Chongqing University and the official forum of Chongqing University. It was born on June 9, 2002, formerly known as "the reader exchange area of major digital maps", and its main function is to answer readers' various questions online. Minzhuhu Forum is the most influential online virtual community among teachers and students of Chongqing University, which has far-reaching influence at home and abroad.
