Interpretation of Clenbuterol Quick Test Card by Experts
Han Jianzhong, deputy dean and professor of College of Food Science and Technology, Zhejiang Gongshang University, believes that the so-called "quick test card" and "quick reagent strip" are not reliable, and even easily lead to misunderstanding and misuse by users.

Professor Han is an expert specializing in the safety of animal feed, additives and meat products. He said that the test objects of the rapid test card are mainly blood and urine. "A small reagent strip can quickly detect the meat itself and draw accurate conclusions, which is almost impossible in theory unless the content of lean meat is very high."

Professor Han said: "The accurate detection process generally includes sampling, crushing, solvent extraction and chromatographic analysis, which takes at least 4 to 5 hours. Regardless of other conditions, the pretreatment process of the cursor book is only one or two hours. However, the content of clenbuterol in animal meat, internal organs and other tissues is very low, so it is not credible to think that the test card can detect the results in 10 minutes. On the contrary, due to the great error in the test results of this reagent strip and card, consumers may misunderstand, and good meat does not dare to eat, but the problem meat is safe to eat. " For the food safety test card widely used by the public, Professor Han feels that we must be cautious about the "test" results, and contact the local quality inspection department in time if there is any abnormality.
