How much myopia can college students accept as soldiers?
Over the years, the vision standards for joining the army are that the naked eye vision of the right eye is above 4.6, the naked eye vision of the left eye is above 4.5 and the correction can reach above 4.9. As long as you meet this standard, you can sign up for the army.

Due to the prevalence of myopia among college students, the physical examination standards for conscription in 2008 have been fine-tuned, and the requirements for vision have declined: the naked eye vision of the right eye and the left eye of people with junior high school education level is not less than 4.9 and 4.8 respectively; High school education level is not less than 4.7 in the right eye and 4.5 in the left eye; College degree or above, with a right eye of not less than 4.6 and a left eye of not less than 4.5. At the same time, according to the provisions in the Notice on Adjusting the Physical Examination Standards of Some Compulsory Soldiers, ametropia candidates can be regarded as qualified if they have no complications for more than half a year after excimer laser surgery and their vision reaches the corresponding standards. In the newly revised "China People's Liberation Army College Entrance Examination Standard", it is also stipulated that those who have undergone excimer laser surgery for more than half a year, and their vision has reached the corresponding standard without complications can be rated as qualified except submarines and airborne soldiers.

1. If the naked vision of any eye is lower than 4.8, it is necessary to check the corrected vision. If the corrected visual acuity of any eye is less than 4.8 or the corrected degree exceeds 600 degrees, it is unqualified. When college students join the army, colleges and universities retain their admission qualifications and can resume their studies within 2 years after retirement.

2. For college soldiers, the development space after enlistment is to choose and retain non-commissioned officers or take entrance examinations for military schools. College graduates are more suitable to join the army by directly recruiting non-commissioned officers, or apply for directional non-commissioned officers in the college entrance examination.

Many people will choose to prepare for military school during their enlistment, so as to realize their dreams. Many enterprises will also give priority to the admission of retired military personnel when recruiting. Retired soldiers have strong comprehensive strength because of their experience during their service. No matter in terms of work efficiency or teamwork, retired soldiers can adapt to their work conditions more quickly, instead of being picky like fresh graduates.
