At present, the Medical College of Shihezi University offers six undergraduate majors: clinical medicine, nursing, preventive medicine, stomatology, medical imaging and medical laboratory technology. The college has 4 affiliated hospitals (1 directly affiliated hospitals and 3 non-directly affiliated hospitals) and 19 teaching practice hospitals, including 18 third-class first-class hospitals and 5 public health teaching practice bases.

In recent years, students have won the third prize in the finals of the national clinical skills competition in medical colleges, the special prizes in Southwest and Northwest China, the first and second prizes in the national stomatology students' skills competition, the third prize in the national clinical skills competition for nursing undergraduates, and the third prize in the southwest and northwest China of the China college students' clinical, preventive and nursing skills competition.

Scientific research:

In the past five years, the Institute has undertaken more than 350 scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, with research funds of more than 80 million yuan, including the National Science and Technology Support Plan 1, the major project of the Ministry of Health 1, the pre-973 project 1, the cooperative project 1 and the National Natural Science Foundation Project 1.
