1926, frisch published a paper & oslashKonomikks lover (quantitative expression of the laws of economic theory), which discussed a new viewpoint that economics should take the road of quantitative analysis like other sciences, especially physics. In the same year, he introduced his quantization plan in another paper. This paper lays a theoretical foundation for the accurate standardization of cardinal utility and ordinal utility. In the same period, he also developed the production theory.
1927, Frish was sponsored by Rockefeller Foundation to study in the United States. There, he cooperated with other economists interested in the application of mathematics and statistics in economics, including Irving Fisher, wesley clair mitchell, Arlene Young and Henri Schultz. He published a paper, which analyzed the role of investment and explained the phenomenon of economic fluctuation.
Later, Frish's sponsorship period was extended so that he could visit Italy and France, but a year later, because of his father's death, he returned to Norway. From 1927 to 1928, a series of papers on time series have been published. 1929 published the first important article in the field of econometric methodology, "Correlation and Dispersion in Statistical Variables", and in the same year published stati kk og dynamikk I den &;; OslashKonomiske teori (statics and dynamics in economic theory) introduces dynamic analysis into economics.
