According to Article 5 of the Interim Measures of Henan University for Undergraduates to Change Majors, students may not apply for changing majors in any of the following circumstances.
1, those who have not obtained student status;
2. Those who have been enrolled for less than one semester or above the third year of undergraduate course;
3. Admission across enrollment batches;
4. High-level athletes, sports singles and directional employment enrollment, joint school;
5. Apply for sports and art majors to become general majors;
6. Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools apply to transfer to general majors;
7. First-year undergraduate students have failed the final exam of the initial course for more than 2 times;
8. Being punished within the time limit for punishment;
9. Change to a major.

Article 9 of the Interim Measures of Henan University for Undergraduates to Change Majors should formulate detailed assessment methods for students to change majors, specify assessment methods, admission methods and specific requirements, and then submit them to the Academic Affairs Office together with the admission plan for changing majors.
Tenth students can take the interview, written examination or a combination of interview and written examination. When the number of applicants for transfer exceeds the acceptance plan, there must be a written examination, and the examination subjects and proportion shall be determined by the receiving institution.
