Sanya Senior High School of Southwest University, located in Sanya City, Hainan Province, is an ordinary high school jointly organized by Southwest University and Sanya Municipal People's Government, with secondary vocational education as the supplement and featuring art and sports.
The school's predecessor was Guangdong Agricultural Reclamation Tongshi Secondary Vocational School, which was founded in 1979. The school has been renamed as "Hainan Agricultural Reclamation Sanya Secondary Technical School" and "Sanya No.6 Middle School"; 20 17, the school was officially renamed Sanya Middle School of Southwest University.
20/kloc-June/July official website shows that there are 239 teaching and administrative staff in the school, of which 40% are teachers with senior titles, 39% are young teachers introduced from famous normal universities in China, and 16% are teachers with master's degree or above.
Sanya municipal government will invest 500 million yuan to plan and build a brand-new campus on the original basis, covering an area of 175 mu, with a construction area of 65,438+10,000 square meters, with a total design scale of 54 classes (24 classes in ordinary high school, 2 classes in junior high school 18 classes in secondary school).
As of May 20 17, the school has a modern gymnasium, a fully functional student canteen, a newly-built comprehensive building and dormitory building, and an assembled swimming pool.
