South China University was founded in 195 1 year. It is a South China United University formed by the merger of a private Guangdong University for Nationalities, a private Guangzhou University, a private Guangzhou Law School, a private cultural university and a southern business school. This university has a long history and its school spirit is highly appraised.

The school of South China University of Technology was formerly known as South China University of Technology. This university was founded in 1952, during which the national universities were adjusted. This university is based on several schools, such as Engineering College of Sun Yat-sen University, Institute of Technology of South China United University, Institute of Technology of Lingnan University, Guangdong Institute of Technology and so on. Later, it was transferred to Hunan University, Zhonghua University in Wuchang, Wuhan Jiaotong University, Nanchang University and Guangxi University, and some engineering departments and majors were established together.

It was not until 1998 that the school was officially renamed. Later 1934, Sun Yat-sen University Institute of Technology was established, which was also a subsidiary of Taiwan Sun Yat-sen University Institute of Technology established in 193 1.

Campus construction:

Among them, the campus is also divided into three campuses, of which Wushan Campus is located in Shipai University District, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. The University Town Campus is located in Guangzhou University Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou. There is also Guangzhou International Campus, located in Innovation City, Panyu District, Guangzhou.
