2 1 Postgraduate Party, two ordinary undergraduates, successfully landed in the sociology major of Hunan Normal University. Here I share my experience in preparing for the exam from several aspects, hoping to help you!
Second,? Reasons for choosing a school
Hu Normal University is 2 1 1 in Hunan, and the major of education is relatively popular, but sociology is relatively unpopular and easy to test. The enrollment ratio is about 1: 10, the formal enrollment is 2 1 medium 12, and the enrollment is increased to 17. The strength of the school is strong, and it is relatively difficult to apply for the exam, which is the best choice for graduate students.
Third,? Preparation of specialized courses
First of all, these two books are only tested in the sociology major course of Hushi Normal University, and so is the second interview. Only when you apply for the same academic level, you need to take an extra test.
Secondly, Hu Normal University's real topic investigation direction will basically not exceed the outline, that is, it will not exceed the contents of these two books, and there is no noun explanation, only short answer questions and essay questions (I don't like reciting noun explanations, I think this kind of question type is very suitable for me).
Then I'm going to do a mind map. I can use a mobile phone or tablet application. I use Apple's XMind, and other apps can do the same. I do it in chapters, and then mark the test sites, which is very clear.
Finally, my high score secret is that you must memorize all the knowledge points in the book before you thoroughly understand the real question. The most important thing is to study the teacher's ideas and methods from the real questions! Tips: I spent a month or so studying the real questions predicted this year, and almost all of them hit! Even Weibo, who couldn't watch the entertainment circle in Wang Leehom before the exam, ate melons, which made me think. I didn't expect it to be the material of the 707 composition question. This year, the topic of 707 sociological theory is very integrated with social hotspots, which is a trend. Attention, everyone.
In addition, exam answering skills and time arrangement are also very important. When I answered the specialized course 707, I was delayed because I entered the examination room. Although it was only delayed for less than five minutes, these five minutes disrupted my follow-up arrangements, and the examination time of each course was precious. (Tips: Be sure to enter the examination room in advance. Don't delay. Take advantage of this 5 ~ 10 minute to take apart the topics and read all the topics carefully. You can't answer them at this time, but you can think about the main points of each question in your mind and then write the main points at the back of the test paper when you start to answer. You can simply write it, such as 1, organization 2, community, etc. You can use one word instead. The purpose is that you may not remember so clearly after answering a question completely, in order to prevent missing answers and to know how to answer this question in an emergency, because it is easy for people to forget the knowledge points when they are not nervous enough. In case you can't remember the main points for the time being, just skip it. Then look at the scores. Easy first, then difficult. Write the main points first. If there is not enough time, you must finish the main points before you start. Otherwise, it won't be finished, and the main points won't be scored, which is not worth the candle. At the beginning, because some questions had too much time to expand, only a few lines were scribbled in the 20-point question, and the words in the following questions were also scribbled. As a result, I got less than 20 points in vain (warm reminder: we should allocate time according to the average number of questions and stipulate how much time each question takes. ) I basically answered a whole page according to the main points of each short answer question (equivalent to one page of A4 paper size), and the essay question was one and a half pages, so my score in the professional class was higher than others, which I think is related to my answer quantity. The low scores I asked others were basically less than half a page, two at most, and the main points were incomplete, so some people got unsatisfactory scores and thought their answers were ok. If there is no high score, it is indeed a stress score. It can only be said that the teacher of Hushi Normal University gave a conservative score. ?
Fourth,? English preparation
My English score is not high. There are many 75+ students this year, which shows that everyone's English level is very high. Especially the students who applied for 2 1 1+. English is a long-term accumulation process, and I see that World War II, which is very bad for people's English itself, has not improved. My level is 565, my level is 500, and my basic level is above average. However, the relationship between English for postgraduate entrance examination and CET-4 and CET-6 is not very big, but the essence is word+brain. Reading is like a sharp brain turn, that is, digging a trap and setting a routine for you to master the thinking of the question and choose the right answer, but it is not simple. You can learn slowly from Mr. Tang Chi's online class in the early stage.
My advantage is composition, which is the best short-term breakthrough. First, writing, practicing copybooks, and then accumulating vocabulary and sentence patterns. When reciting words, you can use a notebook to write down advanced words that you think are suitable for writing. Finally, you should sort out your own English composition template. This sorting method is the same as sorting out major political issues. Buy books from English teachers with good reputation in the market, which are comprehensive and suitable for you. If the composition is weak, you can start early and write one article a week. Summer vacation begins in August, so I write a trainer every week and write about playing. 1 1 month began to sort out the writing templates and classify them from the common templates of vocabulary and sentence patterns.
Words are repetitive and there is no skill. I have recited it about seven or eight times. From August to the exam, I don't recommend spending more than a month doing nothing but memorizing words. You can recite one or two rounds and then translate them in combination with real reading. You don't need to do these questions. You just need to see if you can understand them or translate them carefully. The main thing is to see if there are any new words or words you have memorized but can't remember. Mark it out and get into the habit of reading articles by memorizing all the words at first, instead of reading them by memorizing all the words, so that they will not contradict each other in the future, and the words memorized will be more profound. Many people only recite words, don't combine sentences and don't do real questions. Finally, English words scored a lot, but still not high.
The order and timing of English answers are also very important. The order is easy before difficult. Do the easy-to-score questions with big scores first, and then do the most difficult questions with small scores, so that you can basically get the most points in a limited time. (Tips: My answer time is to write a composition for 50 minutes first (20 minutes for a short composition+30 minutes for a big composition), then 1 hour to read new questions, 20 minutes for translation, 25 minutes for cloze, 15 minutes. )
Recommended bibliography
6. Read the blue book first and lay a good foundation. You can watch it with the video class. Special training in translation will be conducted in the next eight weeks.
Chinese-English translation: Practice the eight-part essay translation of Spark and the Chinese-English translation of three strokes.
Verb (short for verb)? Political preparation
1, wrong question: the political foundation of World War I is easy to confuse wrong knowledge points. Basically, I can't remember it after half a year of World War II, so it is very important to do the wrong question! I brushed Xiao Xiurong's 1000 wrong question in World War I will repeat it during the preparation for World War II, even if I brush it twice, it is still wrong. (Tips: Friends in World War I can leave wrong questions, which can also save you time and energy in politics in World War II when your first year's results are not satisfactory.)
2. Mind map: I really take politics seriously from beginning to end. The first subject I studied was politics, because I also read other people's experience posts in the first year and said that politics in the last two months was enough. As a result, in the later stage, I was burdened with both professional courses and politics, and I didn't fully understand the multiple-choice questions of politics. Xiao Xiurong didn't finish the 1000 question, and scored by the big question, but 2655. The next year, I didn't want politics to drag me down, so I changed my strategy. I started studying politics in July. Because I have a background in World War I, at least I have a vague impression. In Xu Tao, it is relatively easy to watch online courses every day. For liberal arts students, I don't think watching Tao Ge's videos is of much value. It's better to read Tao Ge's little yellow book directly and mark the test sites. It's more efficient to read it again when it doesn't happen. ) I bought all the books of Tao Ge and Xiao Xiurong, and basically passed three. (The political mind map can be divided into four sections according to Ma Yuan+Shi Gang+Mao Zhongte+Hughes. See the figure below. You don't need to be so meticulous in the early stage, and you can slowly add paper and electronic ones in the later stage. Personally, I think it takes about the same time to type or write, but the electronic version is easier to add content and modify later. Similarly, in the later stage, you can sort out the big question template or Xiao four shaw's eight-legged sister's recitation manual, and you can sort out your mind map according to these four sections.
3, multiple-choice questions: Xiao Xiurong 1000 brushed the multiple-choice questions of the leg sister three times and twice (personally, this year's political multiple-choice questions are not in accordance with previous years, although many people brushed Xiao's multiple-choice questions and leg sister's, but the results are still not satisfactory) (Tips to sort out the wrong questions? I made up all these puzzling formulas, such as the history outline meeting, Mao Zedong's works and reviewing wrong questions. Multiple-choice skill is a mental activity, and most people can't do it quickly. Later, I felt that the multiple-choice skills courses on the Internet and in big princess with Legs were still useful. In addition, all major official WeChat accounts and institutions on the Internet do not buy multiple-choice questions and IQ taxes. I haven't seen any political teacher who can press multiple-choice questions for two years. The probability of multiple-choice questions this year is almost zero. Xiao four shaw's eight-legged multiple-choice questions don't care much about the correct rate and questions, but grasp the problem trap by doing the questions. The multiple-choice questions for postgraduate entrance examination can't be exactly the same as the real questions, so there is no need to recite them. Again, the postgraduate entrance examination is about knowledge points+brains.
4. Late sprint (big topic)
Leg sister's recitation manual+small eight+Xiao Si+leg four+strongly recommend online course for leg sister's political problem solving! Generally, Xiao Si's big problem is about 30, and Xiao Si Ba Du's skill template is about 40+, because later you will find that Xiao Si's problem is to extract the important problems of Xiao Ba and make up the parts that Xiao Ba doesn't have, but Xiao Ba does. This year, the fourth leg came out before Xiao Si. I don't think it's necessary to recite Xiao Si and Primary Eight. All the words that Xiao Si will recite this year have appeared in the materials (there are variables every year), so I think we should get high marks and bare Xiao Si's back.
Sister Leg's recitation manual was probably published after the National Day. If you start to recite at this time, the pressure will be much less later. After reciting, I made a mind map of the manual myself, because this manual covers almost all the test sites of multiple-choice questions. It is very effective to check your mistakes through mind mapping.
I also made a comprehensive template for answering big questions according to the template of Leg Sister's Reciting Manual+Xiao Si+Leg Four, so that when I recite it later, I can easily recall it by reading the mind map without rote memorization.
In the current affairs section, I will watch the news broadcast at dinner in the evening. I can start with 165438+ October. 1 1 Watch it every two days after the middle of the month. News is always the latest information about current events, and the words are accurate. My memory is deeper than your words about current events. Multiple-choice questions about current politics can be found online and on the official WeChat account. Just brush dozens of questions every day, and review them later if there are any mistakes.
Re-examination process:
The day before the second interview, the teacher will inform you to adjust the equipment. The formal second interview lasts for 20 minutes. The teacher will let you introduce yourself in English first, and then ask questions in professional courses, which are divided into compulsory questions and multiple-choice questions. The multiple-choice question is to extract the question number by yourself. Most of the topics are related to recent hot events. I suggest you pay more attention to the intake of this part of the content before the exam. After the questioning session of the specialized course, the teacher will remind you how long you have left, so that you can supplement the content yourself.
There are about five teachers and two brothers and sisters in the second interview. The teachers are very kind and always relaxed. They don't ask about undergraduate colleges, undergraduate honorary certificates and transcripts, and they don't ask about CET-4 scores.
Regarding the answering skills, pay attention to the following points:
1, pay attention to the paper and write the answers neatly.
I believe everyone is too aware of the importance of marking papers, but they still go their own way in the examination room and often ignore this point. But in fact, when the computer recognizes the marking, the requirements for fonts have become more stringent.
The marking teacher has to check these hundreds of papers in front of the computer every day, and the marking speed is faster. Basically all papers are keywords. If students scribble a large piece, it is difficult to grasp the key sentences in the answer, and obviously it is easy to lose points.
2, write clear keywords, don't do useless work.
Many students always like to tell a little truth when answering questions. Before they got the result, they had filled the whole answer box. It was a process, and there was no correct answer until the end. So you don't need to do too much preparation when answering questions. Just answer the knowledge points involved. Writing too many useless answers not only wastes your time, but also makes the marking teacher lose focus, which is equivalent to digging a hole for yourself.
3. Clear and standard serial numbers are very important.
I believe that after more than ten years of examination experience, everyone will list the numbers and points of expressions when answering questions. In fact, this is also the best way to answer questions, clearly express what you want to express, and at the same time let the marking teacher know at a glance.
4. Highlight the terminology in the professional field.
When writing the answer, it is best to express the knowledge points in written language or professional terms, and have a certain ability to control the professional language, so the answer cannot be written in vernacular.
Postgraduate psychology
The most important thing for postgraduate entrance examination is mentality and persistence!
Calm down. Don't get up early and get greedy because people around you learn faster than you do, and stay up late to study until the early hours of the morning. There is nothing to compare. I tell you from the experience of people who have been there that as long as you study hard, your grades will definitely be worthy of your efforts. Stick to it, maybe your research friends are still studying with you in the early stage, but they gave up the postgraduate entrance examination in the later stage. Don't be influenced by others. Think more about why he took the postgraduate entrance examination. Now that he has worked hard for so long, it's a pity to give up!
