In 2003, Chongqing Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology established a full-time ordinary college on the basis of Chongqing Vocational College of Military Engineering. On May 27th, 20 19, the Ministry of Education officially approved that Chongqing Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology was officially renamed Chongqing Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology.
