The college consists of four departments: Agriculture and Forestry Department, Animal Science Department, Animal Medicine Department and Grassland Science Department, all of which are provincial key disciplines. Plateau Animal Disease Laboratory is a provincial key laboratory with 17 teaching and research section. At present, there are 1 1 professional directions in five undergraduate majors, including animal science, food science and engineering, animal medicine, grassland science, agronomy, plant protection, forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture, agricultural resources and environment, and animal pharmacy. The college has six master's degree authorization points, including grassland science, basic veterinary science, animal nutrition and feed science, crop cultivation and breeding, crop genetics and breeding, garden plants and ornamental gardening. In 2007, there were 18 teachers with postgraduate tutor qualifications. There are 29 off-campus teaching and research practice bases.
