Li graduated from the Department of Linguistics of Seoul National University, and then spent three years in a big Korean company. She has many ideas and opinions about the way of communication between people, and has a strong interest in paintings that have been circulated for thousands of years and are still in dialogue with the world, so she began to study art history.

Since then, she has studied the history of western art at the University of Denver with a master's degree, and studied the history of modern art at Ewha Women's University in Korea with a doctorate. Now he works in the Museum Art College of Ewha Women's University and teaches art history at Ewha Women's University.

Li believes that works of art can hold people's hearts, so he wrote many books on psychotherapy by artistic means, such as Tears of Mona Lisa, Sedimenting Heart on Monet's Water Lily, Letters of Mother's Famous Paintings, Victoria's Secret, etc., and also translated Modern European Art, Modern Art, etc. 1960.
