First, the school major

Cairo University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Egypt and even the whole Arab world. Founded in 1908, it is located in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Its predecessor was 1825.

Cairo University now has 3 branches, 14 colleges, 124 departments, 6 college-level research institutes, more than 20 department-level research centers, nearly 10,000 teachers and150,000 students.

The powerful teaching strength and advanced scientific research methods of Cairo University in humanities and natural sciences are amazing. It plays an increasingly important role in inheriting and developing ancient Egyptian culture and Arab Islamic culture, popularizing and improving various scientific and technological levels.

1925 Egyptian private university was changed to the Faculty of Arts of Egyptian National University. The newly established National University of Egypt has added law schools, science schools and medical schools on the basis of the Faculty of Arts. Later, colleges such as Engineering College, Agricultural College, Business College and Veterinary College were added.

1940, the National University of Egypt was renamed Fuad I University. Fuad I was the king of Egypt at that time and the first president of Egyptian University.

1952, the Egyptian people overthrew the feudal dynasty and established the Republic of Egypt. The following year, Fuad I University was renamed Cairo University.

Three, the basic conditions for admission are

1, with a high school diploma or equivalent;

2. Physical health must conform to the health standardization proposed by the Supreme Council of the University and the College Committee, such as not suffering from infectious diseases;

3. Government employees and some part-time students must submit admission certificates before entering school;
