College of City and Environment of Northwest University (formerly Department of City and Resources and Department of Environmental Science), formerly known as Department of Geography of Northwest University, is one of the departments with a long history in Northwest University, which was founded in 1902. Our college has five undergraduate majors: resources and environment, urban and rural planning and management, geographic information system, urban planning, environmental science and environmental engineering. Among them, the undergraduate majors of geographic information system and resources, environment, urban and rural planning and management won the famous brands of Shaanxi universities in 2002 and 2004 respectively. At present, our college's urban planning and design, environmental engineering has gradually formed a characteristic major with the characteristics of a comprehensive university, which has been well received by peers and employers.
