On February 9th, Yang Jianting, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, and Chen Tianci, executive vice minister of the Organization Department and director of the Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres, came to the University for the Aged and watched the Spring Festival couplets written by more than 20 veteran cadres and members organized by the County University for the Aged and the Calligraphy Research Association for the Aged, encouraging them to write a new chapter in Ruicheng.

On October 5th, 65438/KLOC-0, the Organization Department of the County Party Committee and the Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres jointly issued a call for Spring Festival couplets on "Building a new Ruicheng, establishing a new atmosphere and adding positive energy" among the retired cadres in the county. The county's veteran cadres actively participated, * * * collected more than 500 Spring Festival couplets, and selected more than 200 outstanding Spring Festival couplets, which were published in Ruicheng Information 10 on February 7. The bureau of retired veteran cadres bought red paper with pen and ink, and the veteran cadres wrote according to the published Spring Festival couplets. At noon that day, they wrote more than 200 pairs. This activity is arranged for 3 days to meet the requirements of county-level veteran cadres and some township veteran cadres to use Spring Festival couplets at home.

Lv Zhenlin, the former president of CPPCC and the president of the county old-age painting and calligraphy research society, expressed gratitude to the county party committee and government for their long-term concern for the old-age painting and calligraphy. Yang Jianting spoke highly of the concern of veteran cadres in senior universities and senior calligraphy and painting research societies for the development of Ruicheng, and encouraged them to adapt to the new normal of Ruicheng and write a new chapter in Ruicheng.
