Inner Mongolia Vocational and Technical College of Architecture is located at the southern foot of Daqing Mountain in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in the hinterland of Tumochuan. It is the only independent architectural institution of higher learning in the autonomous region. Its predecessor was Hohhot Urban Construction Engineering School of the Ministry of Urban Construction, which was founded in 1956. 65438-0958, the school was upgraded to hold undergraduate education and renamed Inner Mongolia Institute of Architecture.
