At present, the School of Pharmacy has nearly 70 graduate tutors, covering different research directions of medicinal chemistry, pharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical analysis, microbiology and biochemical pharmacy, pharmacology and other two disciplines. The college can recruit full-time academic masters, full-time master of pharmacy and part-time master of pharmacy, with an annual enrollment of about 60 students. Pharmacy is the key construction discipline of the "2 1 1" and "985" projects of Shanghai Jiaotong University. The first-level discipline of pharmacy consists of two disciplines and six research directions: medicinal chemistry, pharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical analysis, microbiology and biochemical pharmacy, and pharmacology. At present, the college has about 20 doctoral supervisors, and recruits about 15 doctoral students every year, and recruits doctoral students jointly trained with Shanghai Pharmaceutical Industry Research Institute.
