Standing here today, I am very uneasy, because there are many students who are much better than me. Who doesn't know that we are crouching tiger, hidden dragon. I seem to be teaching fish to swim here. However, since everyone has given me this opportunity, I must cherish it and try to live up to the eager eyes of the audience.
Today, Teacher Chen mainly talked to me about my study methods. Actually, to be honest, I don't have any learning methods. Even if you really want to sum up, it is to read more textbooks at ordinary times, study hard at the end of the term, and basically live in the study room. Actually, it's nothing special. I think everyone has their own characteristics. Confucius said: Teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Therefore, sometimes other people's methods may not work on their own, and everything must be summed up by themselves.
So what am I going to talk about today? Hehe, I'll just talk about my experience and some ideas, which may be helpful to everyone. What I think has been urging me to work hard.
Standing here today, looking back on the past year and a half, I have a fleeting feeling. College life is almost halfway through. Sometimes, I also think privately, have I gained anything this year? I think, when we first entered the university, we may be in high spirits and feel that there is a brand-new life waiting for us to start. Perhaps, I have good expectations in my heart. But with the passage of time, we have all seen, heard and experienced many things. There are always all kinds of disappointments in life, such as feeling that some teachers don't teach well, they can't learn anything in class, and college life is mediocre and helpless. Gradually, the edges and corners of my heart have also been smoothed by time. Sometimes, when a person looks up at the sky, he will feel a sense of loss.
When I closed my eyes, I asked myself two questions &; Ldquo, what do you want? What is your ideal? & amprdquo Maybe in today's era, some people think it's corny to talk about ideals. What's the use of talking about ideals? It is not as real as money and status. But I think people always have a goal when they are alive. You can't walk in this beautiful world for nothing. No matter what your goal is, always set a goal for yourself, find a good job, take a postgraduate exam, start your own business and so on. At this critical stage of life, you may need to have a goal to guide yourself.
I don't know what others think. Anyway, I think four years of college is mainly to enrich myself and learn something practical. With your own ideal, you can work hard for this ideal and gradually enrich your life. In fact, whatever your ideal is, you can enrich yourself. Like a buddy in my dormitory, he just wants to graduate, then take a department exam and become a lawyer. I guess he thinks the same way as many people here. With this ideal, he has been working hard for it. In his words, there are always too many things to do and not enough time. In my impression, his desk is always full of books borrowed from the library. It was piled up because he took all the library cards of three other people in our dormitory to borrow books. There are all kinds of books because, he feels, he should master more knowledge in all aspects. At other times, he is teaching himself Japanese and spoken English and paying attention to the stock market. When I say this, everyone must feel that their lives must be quite boring. Actually, he's not. Like many boys, he sometimes gets up in the middle of the night to watch football and play computer games. But I think everything he does is for his goal. I remember he once said something that impressed me: There are too many people in this school who don't know what they want, but I know their goals.
Tell me more about myself. Because I was worried about the employment rate, I didn't have enough confidence in my ability, and I thought I might not find a good job, so I decided to prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination like many people. So I think it is helpful to study the usual courses. So, like many people, I often go to class to study for myself and read books. I did well in the exam because I was lucky last semester. Of course, there are also the results I have paid. Here, I am not modest, because I have seen with my own eyes that many people are much better than me. Actually, my idea is very simple. Since there are so many strong players, and I have nothing particularly outstanding, then I will fly first, read more books and work harder. A semester, but also achieved good results. More importantly, I have gained something and feel that my study has not been in vain. Actually, I'm not here to call on everyone to study hard and spend every day in the study room. College life is rich and colorful, after all, there is no pressure to go to school like high school. Personally, life has its own master and its own time. Now that you have an ideal, the rest is to revolve around this goal and strive to live a full life.
