Brief introduction of college

Dalian polytechnic university, founded in 1958, is one of the earliest four light industrial colleges in China. Originally belonging to the Ministry of Light Industry, 1998 was transformed into a system built by the central and local governments and managed by Liaoning Province. In 2007, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed dalian polytechnic university from Dalian Institute of Light Industry. The school has gradually developed into an institution of higher learning with industry as the mainstay and six disciplines of engineering, science, art, literature, management and economics as the coordinated development, featuring the cultivation of professionals in food, light industry, textiles and art.
