Dongcheng campus is 900 mu. Official website of Kashgar University shows that as of April 2023, the school has three campuses, namely Gao Tai, Xinquan and Dongcheng (under construction), covering an area of 3,350 mu, including 450 mu in Gao Tai, 2,000 mu in Xinquan and 900 mu in Dongcheng. Kashi University, located in Kashgar City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is an engineering university for the basic capacity building of colleges and universities in the central and western regions, and one of the pilot universities for national 100 transformation and development.
