China's kung fu is profound and varied. Why is Wing Chun so popular? On 2011,Fuzhou City, Fujian Province declared "Wing Chun Boxing" as the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects. Although many people think that Wing Chun Boxing originated in the Sichuan-Yunnan border region, is popular in Fujian and is famous in Foshan, Guangdong, due to the lack of written materials, the history of Wing Chun Boxing is only spread orally among the masses, and then it is described in unofficial history's novels. There are many legends and versions about the origin of Wing Chun Boxing, and the Wing Chun Boxing that has developed so far is essentially developed and perfected by the predecessors of Wing Chun Boxing in previous dynasties. Over time, there are different opinions, so there are always different opinions about the origin of Wing Chun Quan, but this does not hinder the status and influence of Wing Chun Quan.

Wing Chun Boxing is well-known to the public, which is largely benefited from a large number of film and television works. The film that really makes Wing Chun shine in front of the world is Bruce Lee's world-famous work, enter the dragon, which is still regarded as one of the 25 classics in American history.

Bruce Lee's enter the dragon.

In the movie, Bruce Lee competes with his disciple and karate champion Robert, and their forehands are put together. Bruce Lee made a sudden effort in front of his opponent, didn't strike back, knocked him down with one punch, and the audience applauded. The opponent was puzzled and tried again. Bruce Lee suddenly struck again and knocked him down. This world-famous "inch punch" comes from the skill of Wing Chun. In World War I, enter the dragon Underground Castle, Bruce Lee attacked Bruce Lee with one enemy and many thugs. Bruce Lee eliminated and defeated many people simply by hand movements, which also came from Wing Chun's bridge skills. In the play, long sticks, short sticks and nunchakus are used to fight the mob, and the skill of long sticks comes from the 6: 30 stick in Wing Chun.

During Shaw's film period, Hong Quan and Wing Chun directed by Zhang Che were rough and stereotyped in many places today, but they were pioneers at that time. In fact, the performance of Wing Chun in the film is not much, only one-fifth, but the performance of Wing Chun is the first in this film, which fully shows that Wing Chun's finger force can be exerted from three inches, and the enemy is unprepared.

Later, in the first Wing Chun movie directed by Mr. Zan and "Change China", the wing Chun palm technique of the narrow horse short bridge and the wide-ranging Hong Quan plus the free Taekwondo leg technique can be said to complement each other. The beauty of Mr Zan and Hua Qian is that it decomposes the techniques and drills of Wing Chun Boxing, and makes a detailed shooting. It can be read as a teaching material of Wing Chun Boxing, even without those storylines, it can become a classic. In the play, Mr Zan is Liang Zan, a master of Wing Chun Boxing in Foshan in Qing Dynasty, and what we are looking for is that Chen Huashun is Liang Zan's apprentice. Ye Wen, who was later known to the audience, was a close disciple of Gao Zu Liang Zan Chen Huashun.

Three years after the success of Mr Zan and Change, director Sammo Hung released another classic costume film, Tiequan, starring Yuan Biao. Among them, Ching-Ying Lam's performance was brilliant, and his Wing Chun skill was not inferior to that of Donnie Yen later. This may be because of Ching-Ying Lam's dramatic background. His wing chun performance is not only rigorous and flawless, but also has a sense of rhythm of Beijing opera. Zhang Chi, as an art, is moderate and pleasing to the eye. In this film, Sammo Hung not only designed a series of wonderful Wing Chun fights, but also personally played the comedy role of Wang Baohua, which made people laugh. At the same time, he performed a set of Wing Chun Boxing which was completely different from Ching-Ying Lam's style. Ching-Ying Lam's Wing Chun is elegant and fast. He is a master. Sammo Hung's Wing Chun Boxing is powerful. He pushed Wing Chun Boxing to the extreme and never flinched. At the same time, their different styles of Wing Chun also make Sammo Hung Wing Chun different from Nagashima. Sammo Hung's martial arts design in this film also has a detailed explanation of Wing Chun boxing theory and a wonderful visual presentation. It fully shows the playing style of Wing Chun Quan and some pile instruments.

During this period, Wing Chun gradually became popular in Hong Kong and overseas. With the popularity of movies, the development of wing chun quan itself has been accelerated, and the vast number of wing chun quan practitioners and the general public are still impressed after watching it.

Wing Chun boxing has fast and tight defense, flexible standing, rapid ups and downs, both offensive and defensive, and pays attention to both rigidity and softness, which consumes less energy. So it is rumored that Wing Chun Boxing was invented by women. Wing Chun Quan is a classic kung fu film directed by Yuan Heping. It is one of the masterpieces of the golden age of Hong Kong martial arts films in the 1990s, and tells the story of Yan Yongchun, the founder of Wing Chun Quan. Yang Ziqiong and Donnie Yen, the two protagonists in the film, were at the peak of their skills at that time. Under the guidance of Master Yuan, all the performances were wonderful, beautiful and clean. The action drama is as intense as Yuan Heping's previous works, and Yang Ziqiong, who has the skills of dancing, is also quite beautiful in the flexibility of waist and horse. Unfortunately, "Wing Chun Boxing" is not authentic. The so-called "short bridge and narrow horse" melee tactics are the basic essentials of Wing Chun Boxing, but in this film, it seems that it is neither fish nor fowl to use high kicks nor long bridges to hit the air.

Li Rengang, regarded as the successor of the new martial arts action film, is a very affectionate person. His two films, Ah Fu, Andy Lau's Ah Fu shoots Muay Thai, and the young Ah Fu introduces the concept of martial arts into the competition. Tommy Tam, John Chiang, Xiong Xinxin, Lu Huiguang, Liu Jiahui and other martial arts stars joined in, which also made it a sincere commemorative work of China Kung Fu movies. In the process of learning martial arts from all the old-timers, VanNess Wu described the boxing essentials of Wing Chun and Hong Quan. It is Tommy Tam who teaches VanNess Wu Wing Chun. Tommy Tam is very young. This film is actually a tribute to Hong Quan and Wing Chun to a great extent.

In recent years, the theme of "Wing Chun Boxing" is Donnie Yen's "Ip Man" series, while "Real Kung Fu" has brought Wing Chun Boxing to the extreme in terms of popularity and actual combat. The martial arts scenes are numerous but not miscellaneous, showing in detail the means of defeating the enemy, such as Wing Chun Quan, which makes people enjoy the fighting routines pleasing to the eye. The confrontation between North and South shows the beauty of China Wushu. The confrontation is firm and strong, calm and steady, and Five Blessingg's stiff competition is smart. Especially when Donnie Yen blocked Fan Shaohuang's broadsword with a feather duster, that kind of stubbornness, tenacity, willfulness and composure caused a strong sensory impact in the strong contrast. The action used in Wing Chun Boxing is our instinctive action for self-defense and self-protection. They are neither mysterious nor gorgeous. Martial arts practitioners can only make a summary on this basis, and through systematic practice, become a coherent technical application, "to fight for elimination, or even to fight for elimination", thus achieving a high degree of self-protection effect.

With the popularity of Donnie Yen's "Ip Man" series, a "Ip Man fever" has been set off, and the follow-up films and television works have also appeared one after another.

Mr Guolin Xian, a film producer, is not only the boss of the financial industry, but also a Wulin middleman. He is the first disciple of Ye Zhun, chairman of the Hong Kong Wing Chun Association and vice chairman of the International Wing Chun Association. He is the behind-the-scenes pusher of all the films of Ip Man, from Ip Man, Ip Man 2 to IP Man Prequel to IP Man: The Last Battle, which can be said to be Wing Chun Quan and Wing Chun Quan.

The Prequel to Ip Man was directed by Qiu Litao and starred by Du Yuhang Fan Shaohuang. The film focuses on IP Man's experience from the age of twelve to thirty. Ye Wen's cotyledon Zhun not only served as the consultant of the film, but also played Liang Bi, the second wing chun master of his father Ye Wen, and personally showed wing chun on the screen. This is his first time to participate in this film as an actor.

And "Ip Man: The Ultimate World War I" is still directed by Qiu Litao, starring Huang Qiusheng and Anita Yuen. The film tells the story of 1950 Wing Chun master Ye Wen who went to Hong Kong to make a living, and successively took Liang Shuang, Li Qiong, Chen Simei, Deng Sheng, Dong Wang and others as his disciples, and struggled to establish Wing Chun spirit. Although there is no lack of martial arts in this play. Qiu Dao, on the other hand, deliberately focused on recreating the old Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s, so as to cherish the memory of the common people's feelings and life interests.

I have some feelings, but this may not be a successful movie. It is also about the subject matter of IP Man, but the above two films have a flat response when they are released, lacking a sense of existence. It was not until the release of "A Generation of Masters" directed by Wong Kar-wai that the audience paid attention to Ip Man and Wing Chun again.

Wing Chun Boxing emphasizes the "midline theory" and the flexible use of limbs derived from correct concepts, consciousness and ways of thinking. Its contents include "seeking a bridge", "pointing fingers" and "thinking carefully". As the saying goes, "small thoughts are not correct, and life is not correct; Martial arts is like this, and so is being a man. " "A Generation of Masters" tells the legendary life of many masters in the "South-North Wulin" and a generation of martial arts master Ye Wen during the Republic of China. Master Chen Huashun's warning of "One Belt, One Road" supported him to go through the chaotic era of shuddering and regime change. The film tells the truth of practicing martial arts and being a man with the tactics of wing chun quan, and the plump characters promote the plot.

Wing Chun Boxing itself is flashy, simple, direct and practical. Ip Man developed these characteristics, was modest and prudent, and never claimed to be the master or head of Wing Chun Boxing. If others deserve him, IP Man will be embarrassed and refuse again and again, which shows his personality. All his disciples call him "Uncle Wen". After IP Man's death, his sons and disciples inherited his legacy and devoted themselves to promoting Wing Chun boxing overseas. His son Ye Zhun has successively set up some apprentices in Hong Kong Wing Chun Sports Association, Sha Tin Town Hall, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Foshan Institute of Science and Technology. It is even more common for Hong Kong entertainment circles to practice Wing Chun. Although the famous Cheng Jiaban and Yuan Jiaban are mainly northern martial arts, they all practice Wing Chun boxing, while Liu Jiaban mainly practices Wing Chun boxing. It is said that both Wong Kar-wai and Tony Leung Chiu Wai have studied Wing Chun.
