Capital university of economics and business is one of the earliest insurance colleges in China. As early as 1986, we began to prepare for the enrollment of insurance undergraduates. This year, under the auspices of Professor Guo, a famous insurance scholar at that time, the school accepted the entrustment of China People's Insurance Company and began to train middle-level business backbones for it. Since 1987, in order to further adapt to the actual situation that the insurance industry is in urgent need of professionals, the school has set up the insurance management direction in finance, and trained insurance undergraduates for PICC China, and received funding from PICC China. 1992 began to recruit insurance graduate students.
During the period of 18, I had some twists and turns in my insurance career in capital university of economics and business. 1987 ~ 1993 The school enrolled undergraduates in insurance management. From 1994 (then called insurance management major), it was officially allowed to enroll undergraduates in the name of insurance major, but five years later, in the Ministry of Education. Forced the school to merge the insurance major with the financial major, they had to use the "insurance direction" again when enrolling students. But their original intention of training much-needed insurance professionals for the market remains unchanged. On the one hand, we strive to apply for the resumption of enrollment of insurance majors, on the other hand, we still train students with "insurance direction" in full accordance with the teaching plan specifications of insurance majors. It was not until 2003 that the insurance major was approved by the Ministry of Education again, and it was officially enrolled in 2004.
