The re-examination team will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the candidates' professional quality, innovative spirit and ideological and moral quality. In principle, the retest time for each candidate is not less than 20 minutes.

The re-examination content mainly includes: English, professional foundation, professional integration and ideological and moral examination.

The basic professional subjects are selected by the candidates from structural mechanics, soil mechanics, subgrade and pavement engineering, survey adjustment foundation, theory and practice of building environment (including knowledge of HVAC and cold and heat source engineering), and theory and practice of gas engineering (including knowledge of gas transmission and distribution and gas supply), and the candidates randomly select multiple test questions according to the selected subjects. The comprehensive professional examination is conducted by free question and answer. Re-examination experts independently give "professional re-examination results" according to the professional foundation and comprehensive re-examination situation.
