Northwestern Polytechnical University (hereinafter referred to as Xigong University), located in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a multi-disciplinary, research-oriented and open university featuring talent training and scientific research in the fields of aviation, aerospace and navigation. The first category is candidates with excellent comprehensive quality.

The second category is the top students in basic disciplines, who won the second prize and above in the national finals of five disciplines, including China Mathematical Olympics, China Physical Olympics, China Chemical Olympics, National Biology Competition for Middle School Students and National Youth Informatics Olympics. Candidates applying for the Dongda Qiangji Program cannot apply to other universities.

Admission rules:

For the first type of candidates, according to the results of the college entrance examination and the principle of "giving priority to scores and following volunteers", Dongda determines the list of candidates who are shortlisted for college examinations in each major (the final score is shortlisted) according to six times the number of professional plans in the province where the candidates are located, and publicizes the shortlisting criteria of each major.
