Cai Yuanpei (1868- 1940) was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. China's outstanding democratic revolutionist and educator. He studied in Germany, France and other countries. Lin Fengmian (1900- 199 1) is a native of Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. Wang Ziyun (1897- 1990) was born in Xiaoxian County, Anhui Province. Mo Pu (19 15- 1996) was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Famous artist and art educator. 1933 graduated from the western painting department of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. 1940 Joined the New Fourth Army in Huainan. The following year, he served as Professor and Head of the Fine Arts Department of the Central China Branch of Lu Xun Art Institute, and later as Professor of the Fine Arts Department of the Lu Yi Working Group of the New Fourth Army. After 1945, he taught at Lu Xun College of Literature and Art in Yan 'an and North China United University. He has served as president of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region's Charge Drama Club, special correspondent of Northeast Daily, researcher of the Literature Department of North China United University, vice chairman of Dalian Guandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, deputy director of the Literature and Art Committee of Wuhan Military Region Management Committee, editor-in-chief of Xue Culture magazine of the Ministry of Education, and deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. 1957 transferred to Zhejiang academy of fine arts, vice president, secretary of the party Committee and principal of the affiliated middle school. Fang Ming (1924-) was originally named Liu Juying, female, from Hanchuan, Hubei, and graduated from junior high school. /kloc-joined the New Fourth Army in Hubei in 0/940, and joined the China * * * Production Party in the same year. In his early years, he served as a member of the October Theater of the Party Committee of Hubei-Henan Border Region and a political instructor of the propaganda team of the military division. Yang (1957-), a native of Nanjing, Jiangsu. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of China Academy of Fine Arts (formerly Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts) with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. Now he is a professor at China Academy of Fine Arts. 1993- 1995 went to school of visual arts for further study, and studied in French, German, Italian and other countries. He used to be the deputy director of Henan Sculpture Art Studio (now Henan Sculpture Mural Academy). He is currently the vice president (legal representative) of school of visual arts and China Academy of Fine Arts, member of academic committee and deputy secretary-general; Member of China Artists Association; Director of Zhejiang Urban Sculpture Office and Vice Chairman of Sculptors Association; Executive director of Zhejiang Artists Association.
