City University of Macau is located in the Macao Special Administrative Region, one of the core cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a non-profit comprehensive university approved by the Macao SAR Government. It is a member university of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao University Alliance, World Translation Education Alliance, World Tourism Organization, International Union of Design and Art Colleges, World Traffic Decarbonization Alliance and International Federation of Portuguese-speaking Universities. According to the laws of the Macao government, universities have the right to award bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
