Since 20 14, the national graduate students have implemented the full self-funded model without public expenses. At the same time, however, every graduate student can get an annual 600 yuan grant from the state.
According to different institutions, some institutions will decide scholarships according to the candidates' grades in the first year. The highest one is tuition-free, and then it will be reduced by 80% to 50%. The lowest one may not have scholarships. Then, in the second academic year and beyond, the scholarship order is decided according to the grade ranking. Scholarship places are relatively small.
Postgraduate scholarship
Postgraduate scholarships include: national scholarships, inspirational scholarships, university scholarships and private scholarships. The amount of scholarships varies from institution to institution.
State subsidy
State grants are used to finance the basic living expenses of all full-time graduate students (except those with fixed salary) who are included in the national graduate enrollment plan in ordinary colleges and universities across the country. Part-time graduate students do not enjoy national grants for graduate students.
The standard of postgraduate funding is not less than 6000 yuan per student per year. Generally, scholarships for schools are 6000 yuan or 8000 yuan, which will be distributed in ten months, that is, 600 yuan or 800 yuan per month, and less schools will distribute them in 12 months.
