How about college students as mentors?
It is good for college students to be tutors, but it should be noted that only college students with teacher qualification certificates are qualified to be tutors and must not occupy students' weekends and holidays.

According to Article 14 of the Opinions on Further Reducing Students' Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden in Compulsory Education issued by the General Office of the State Council, personnel engaged in subject training must have corresponding teacher qualifications. Therefore, college students who don't have teacher qualifications can't carry out discipline training for middle school students, and those who have teacher qualifications must also carry out discipline training through tutor institutions in accordance with the relevant national policies of "double reduction".

Matters needing attention in counseling college students;

First, when tutoring, we must first understand the students' academic performance.

Being a tutor for the first time will inevitably make you nervous, but when you talk about the topic, you must be clear-headed, systematically analyze the topic and express it clearly. That's all that matters. Of course, it would be better if you have the ability to communicate and learn interactively with students, so that students won't feel sleepy and don't want to learn. Parents' first impression of the trial teaching is that they have clear expression and teaching ability.

Second, we should pay attention to preparing lessons in advance.

This is my own understanding of knowledge points and the premise of coherent analysis of intercom class hours. With preparing lessons, teaching will be easier and there will be no too much pressure. Otherwise, when teaching, there will be something that I can't catch. Only when I am particularly familiar with the knowledge points can I speak more smoothly and have a much greater chance of success. At the same time, it will also give students a sense of certainty, and I can make it clear without textbooks.

Third, different students should implement different plans.

Because looking for a tutor is generally a student with poor grades, you should be mentally prepared. These students are probably tired of learning, because they don't want to ask for a tutor themselves, but they are forced by their parents and have no choice. So let them be interested in learning. Of course, the improvement of their grades is the best motivation.

The breadth and knowledge of reading will also make students have a desire to learn. This is the best time to establish prestige and let him learn. So we should communicate with students more and let them ask questions instead of talking all the time.

Generally speaking, students should not be helped to calculate the answers when doing the questions. Students should do their own problems to calculate the answers. If they make a mistake, they will not be prompted again. If they can't figure it out, show it to his face. This method of interacting with students can make students feel less tired and want to learn more.
