The process for college students to reissue their ID cards in different places is as follows:

1. The applicant himself went to the police station to take a digital photo of the resident ID card and collect fingerprint information on the spot;

2. Fill in the registration form for accepting resident ID cards in different places and pay the license fee. Among them, those who apply for renewal need to submit their identity cards, and those who apply for replacement need to submit their household registration books or residence permits;

3. After accepting the application for renewal and replacement of resident identity cards at the reception point in different places, the acceptance information will be transmitted to the public security organ where the applicant's household registration is located in time, and the public security organ at the county level where the household registration is located will examine and issue it in time;

4. The organs of self-government of ethnic autonomous areas may, according to the local actual situation, decide to use the language of the ethnic group exercising regional autonomy or choose a local common language as the content registered in Chinese on the resident identity card.
