Ningbo University is the first batch of "double first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China.

Meishan Campus of Ningbo University is located in Meishan Island, Beilun District, Ningbo City. After nearly three years of basic engineering construction, it officially opened in September 2065438+2008. Meishan campus consists of three colleges: Ocean College, Maritime College and College of Food and Medicine.

Ningbo University Meishan Campus is located in the fifth bonded port area in China and the only bonded port area in Zhejiang Province at present. The campus covers an area of about 528 mu, with a total construction area of over 220,000 square meters.

In order to inherit and carry forward marine culture, the architectural form and space of Meishan campus are closely related to marine culture.

The overall design of the scheme is inspired by the openness, extroversion, compatibility, pioneering, originality and enterprising spirit of marine culture. The style not only inherits the characteristics of the main campus of Ningbo University, but also pays more attention to the characteristics of marine culture. Overall layout, with * * * teaching area as the core, the campus is roughly divided into living area, scientific research area and sports area, forming a pattern of one core and three wings.

The whole campus has moved into the Maritime College, Ocean College and the newly-built Food and Drug College of Ningbo University, and some scientific research platforms of the Institute of New Drugs of the school have also settled in the campus. The teaching level of the campus includes undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees, as well as the teaching of international students in the corresponding colleges.

Three colleges and other teaching and scientific research units in the campus, Ningbo (China) Supply Chain Innovation Research Institute and the adjacent Ningbo Institute of Oceanography form the Meishan Marine Science and Education Park of Ningbo University. source
