In March 2002, in the process of building a high-level university, in order to conform to the new trend of internationalization in the 2/kloc-0 century, inherit and carry forward the tradition of internationalization, and with the help of the relevant policies promulgated by the state to encourage universities to carry out international cooperation in running schools, Henan University International Education Center was established.
In June of the following year, it was renamed the College of International Education of Henan University. After 20 years of development, in March 2023, the college was renamed as International Business School of Henan University. In order to adapt to the general trend of economic globalization and internationalization of education, the International Business School of Henan University, relying on its superior school-running conditions, vigorously introduced foreign high-quality educational resources and fully absorbed international advanced educational concepts.
Substantial cooperation with foreign universities to run schools and cultivate high-quality, high-quality, international and compound senior professionals. College enrollment is included in the national formal general enrollment plan and managed by the school.

The college has a strong faculty, and Chinese and foreign teachers share the teaching tasks. Most teachers in China have overseas study experience, rich professional knowledge, advanced teaching concepts and solid foreign language skills. The college has strict requirements, standardized management and remarkable teaching effect. For more than a decade, international students have spread all over the world in nearly 20 countries and regions.
The graduation rate of students is around 40%, and the employment rate of students has remained above 98% for many years. The college has more than 4,000 students and more than 5,000 graduates/kloc-0.
