Since 20021,Peking University Institute of Physics has started the master program of electronic information (photoelectric information engineering), focusing on three research fields: photonic technology and applied optics, photoelectric materials and devices, laser accelerator and tumor diagnosis and treatment, and building a high-level, applied, compound and international engineering education and training system to cultivate high-end scientific and technological talents with solid theoretical foundation, reasonable knowledge structure, strong engineering innovation ability and excellent professional accomplishment. The project focuses on improving students' theoretical basis of physical engineering, engineering organization and coordination ability, innovative research and development, promotion and engineering application ability of new products and technologies, foreign language communication and international competitiveness.

The study period of Master of Electronic Information in Peking University Institute of Physics is 3 years, and the study mode is full-time. The course study mainly focuses on the first year, and then enters the professional practice link. Before the end of the study, all training links, paper writing, review and defense should be completed.
