The Air Force Military Vocational College is a "university without walls"

Air Force Military Vocational College is an open university for all cadres and soldiers of the whole army. It focuses on military post education, giving consideration to academic education, and cultivating high-quality talents to meet the needs of air force transformation and future operations. Its main task is to organize all cadres and soldiers to carry out military vocational education with on-the-job learning as the main form and new knowledge, new theory, new technology and new equipment as the main content according to the needs of air force construction and development. The air force military vocational college has a dean and a political commissar, who are concurrently appointed by the air force commander and the air force political commissar respectively. Universities are managed at three levels: universities, branch schools and campuses.
