Hebei Radio and TV University is an open university that uses computer courseware, network, radio, television, text teaching materials and audio-visual teaching materials for distance education. The school was founded on 1978. After nearly 30 years of development, under the leadership of the Provincial Department of Education and the professional guidance of the Central Radio and TV University, a modern distance higher education network has been formed, with electricity saving as the center, commercial electricity as the backbone, and county-level TV universities as the foundation, covering both urban and rural areas of the province. There are 15 municipal TV universities and branch schools, 139 county-level branch schools and workstations, and nearly 1000 grass-roots teaching classes in the province. The provincial headquarters is located at No.460 Hezuo Road, Shijiazhuang City.
