College of Agriculture and Biotechnology of Zhejiang University was established in June, 1999. There are five departments, including Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Plant Protection Department, Tea Department and Applied Biological Science Department, and nine research institutes, including Institute of Nuclear Agriculture, Institute of Biotechnology, Institute of Crop Science, Institute of Tea, Institute of Insect Science, Institute of Pesticide and Environmental Toxicology, Institute of Vegetables, Institute of Fruit Tree Science and Institute of Landscape Architecture.
